Serve in an Old-fashioned glass

Ingredients:
34 oz Pomegranate juice
7 fresh Mint leaves
2 oz Bourbon whiskey
12 oz Honey sugar syrup
14 oz Monin Grenadine Syrup
× 1 1 serving
Read about cocktail measures and measuring

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of mint sprig & pomegranate seeds.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass filled with crushed ice.

Review:

Reminiscent of honeyed Mint Julep with pomegranate fruit.

This was nice but a bit too sweet. I cut the final sugar syrup dose in half and might leave it out altogether next time. Also added just a bit of lemon juice to brighten the drink (which is against julep rules, I know, but it tasted better with it).
