Ingredients:
2 fl oz Caribbean blended rum aged 6-10 years
1 fl oz Difford's Falernum liqueur
1 fresh Egg yolk

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Sour or Martini/Coupette glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of grated nutmeg.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice and strain back into shaker.
  4. DRY SHAKE (without ice).
  5. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  6. Garnish with dusting of nutmeg grated over cocktail.

Simply an aged rum flip with falernum replacing sugar syrup and egg white omitted.

History:

Created in December 2008 by yours truly at the Cabinet Room in London, England.

  • 21.6 grams of pure alcohol
