Ingredients:
2 oz Cockburn's Tawny Eyes Port
12 oz Orange Curaçao liqueur
2 dash Orange Bitters by Angostura
1 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

An absinthe rinse to the glass really adds another layer nicely to this cocktail

Enjoyed this on the first really warm evening of May 2024. Swapped the garnish for a slice of blood orange to heighten the sangria effect. Delicious to eat once we got to the bottom of the glass. A proper beginning of summer drink.

Tried this one with Blue Curaçao as I didn't have any other Curacao orange Liqueur. Apart from looking a bit like stirred used motor oil, it does taste better than it looks 😂
