Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
1 12 oz Hayman's Old Tom Gin
1 12 oz Strucchi Rosso Vermouth
16 oz Crème Yvette liqueur
1 dash Orange Bitters by Angostura
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Adapted from Albert Stevens Crockett's 1931 Old Waldorf Bar Days which explains, "The name of an American yacht which took care of one of Sir Thomas Lipton's early but seemingly endless Shamrocks". [Shamrock being the name of Sir Thomas Lipton's fleet of America's Cup racing yachts.]
