History:

Created in 2013 by Andrea Montague from London, England to win the Difford's Guide Beer-tail Competition for London Cocktail Week 2013 held on Friday 9th August 2013 at our own Cabinet Room in London.

Named after De Beauvoir Town, an area of north London boundaried by Kingsland Road to the east, Southgate Road to the west, the Regent's Canal in the south and Tottenham Road to the north. The cockney name for the area, Beavertown, is also the name of the brewery in Hackney whose Smog Rocket porter Andrea used in her winning cocktail.

Difford’s Guide remains free-to-use thanks to the support of the brands in green above. Values stated for alcohol and calorie content, and number of drinks an ingredient makes should be considered approximate.
