2 fl oz Irish whiskey
1/2 fl oz Elderflower liqueur
2/3 fl oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1/3 fl oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)

How to make:

MUDDLE cucumber in base of shaker. Add other ingredients, SHAKE with ice and strain into ice-filled glass.

History:

Adapted from a recipe created by Jack McGarry at The Dead Rabbit, New York City, USA, this is an Irish-whiskey-based riff on Sam Ross' Kentucky Maid cocktail which is considered a contemporary classic.
