Ingredients:
16 oz Rothman & Winter Crème de Violette Liqueur
12 oz Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. cognac
3 12 oz Brut champagne/sparkling wine

How to make:

SPRAY violet liqueur onto inside surface of glass and set aside. STIR cognac with ice and strain into chilled glass.

I was concerned that it may be a bit too floral. I was serving the cocktail at brunch with New Orleans Pain Perdu which has orange flower water. Decided to add 1/4 oz of Grand Marnier to add the orange flavor. It was wonderful. Slight twist, but it worked.
