How to make

Glassware

Serve in a Flute glass

Prepare

  1. Select and pre-chill a FLUTE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of edible flower.

Method

  1. SPRAY violet liqueur onto inside surface of glass and set aside.
  2. STIR brandy with ice and strain into chilled glass.
  3. TOP with sparkling wine.

  1. Garnish with edible flower.

Used demi sec Cremant de Samur because that’s what what I had. Meh. I love all these ingredients but was underwhelmed by this.

I was concerned that it may be a bit too floral. I was serving the cocktail at brunch with New Orleans Pain Perdu which has orange flower water. Decided to add 1/4 oz of Grand Marnier to add the orange flavor. It was wonderful. Slight twist, but it worked.
