Serve in an Old-fashioned glass
3 whole | Maraschino cherry (from jar in syrup) |
4 fresh | Sage leaves |
1 1⁄2 oz | Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. cognac |
1⁄2 oz | Strucchi Rosso Vermouth |
1 oz | Pineapple juice |
1 barspoon | Syrup from Luxardo Maraschino Cherries |
Garnish: Maraschino cherries & sage leaves
MUDDLE cherries in base of shaker. Add sage leaves and lightly bruise with the muddler. Add other ingredients, SHAKE with ice and fine strain into ice-filled glass.

Adapted from a recipe created in 2015 by Dominic Krempels at Archer Street, Soho, London, England. Dominic's original recipe calls for Martell XO cognac and Cocchi Storico Vermouth di Torino rosso vermouth.

My sage leaves are small, so I add almost double.
