Ingredients:
1 12 oz Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. cognac
12 oz Caribbean blended rum aged 6-10 years
1 oz Strucchi Rosso Vermouth
1 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  3. STRAIN into ice-filled glass (preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice).

Not unpleasant but it didn’t stand out from the crowd. The vermouth was a bit too dominant. I added a bit more cognac and rum and also an extra dash of chocolate bitters.

As someone who really loves all these ingredients, this cocktail is a great sipper and is definitely worth making, if you haven’t done so already

I love rum and cognac. Great combination. Smooth and good nightcap.
