Kümmel's bold caraway, cumin and fennel flavours predominate in this cognac-based after-dinner digestive cocktail.
Created by Salvatore Calabrese who in October 2012 broke the Guinness World Record for the most expensive cocktail in the world by making this recipe using a 1788 cognac, a 1770 kümmel, an 1860 orange curaçao, and Angostura Bitters from 1900. A total of "733 years of liquid history in one drink, pricing the cocktail at £5,500."
