I’m a really big fan of a regular Martinez, and of Cynar. But this hits me as much too thick, heavy and dense. I think I have a particular dislike of Angostura cocoa bitters though, so maybe I was never destined to like this odd tasting thing.

I upped the mezcal to 60 ml and used a split of Ilegal and Banhez. Tastes like bitter mezcal with sweetness to balance, and a hint of chocolate on the finish. Very good drink.

Pretty tasty. Curious how cherry heering plays in lieu of luxardo

Everything is fighting for supremacy in this drink and each gets a chance to shine at some part of the sip. Made per the recipe and found it was plenty of mezcal.

If you're a fan of the smoke, this is Fabulous. Capital F.

Took the advice of a previous commentor and bumped the mezcal to 60mL. Really enjoy the interplay of the vermouth, the Cynar and the cherry (I used Herring) with the smokiness of the mezcal.

So similar to the New York Minute in flavors, I think this is a bit more interesting.

Fabulous. Heartwarming though a tad sweet. I think I overdid the luxado

I put 60ml (2oz) of mezcal in my one - I think that balances out the Luxardo.
