Ingredients
1 1/2 fl oz Calvados / apple brandy / straight applejack
1/2 fl oz Giffard Sour Apple Liqueur
1 fl oz Apple juice/apple cider (cloudy & unsweetened)
1/2 fl oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
1 1/2 fl oz Thomas Henry Ginger Ale

How to make

Glassware

Serve in a Collins glass

Prepare

  1. Select and pre-chill a COLLINS GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of apple wedge.

Method

  1. SHAKE first 4 ingredients with ice.
  2. STRAIN into ice-filled glass whilst also pouring ginger ale.

Garnish

  1. Garnish with apple wedge on rim.

Nice and refreshing. Apple flavour dominates, ginger ale adds a little background but slightly one note. On addition of two dashes of angostura we felt this drink suddenly transformed into something much more enjoyable
