Serve in a Collins glass

Ingredients:
1 12 oz Calvados / apple brandy / straight applejack
12 oz Sour apple liqueur
1 oz Apple juice/apple cider (cloudy & unsweetened)
12 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
1 12 oz Thomas Henry Ginger Ale
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Collins glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of apple wedge.
  3. SHAKE first 4 ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into ice-filled glass whilst also pouring ginger ale.
  5. Garnish with apple wedge on rim.

Review:

A refreshing long number with a taste reminiscent of cider.

Nice and refreshing. Apple flavour dominates, ginger ale adds a little background but slightly one note. On addition of two dashes of angostura we felt this drink suddenly transformed into something much more enjoyable
