1 12 oz The Busker Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey
12 oz Pommeau du Normandie
0.08 oz Luxardo Apricot Albicocca Liqueur
12 oz Verjuice
0.08 oz Monin Passion Fruit Syrup
2 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Nick & Nora glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Review:

Single pot still Irish whiskey gives this Commander backbone while verjuice adds a stiff upper lip, but this Chief has heart and soul in the form of passion fruit, apricot liqueur, and Pommeau de Normandie.

History:

Adapted from a recipe created by Jillian Vose at The Dead Rabbit, New York City, USA. Jillian's original recipe calls for the whisky to be split between 15ml Redbreast 12-year-old and 30ml Green Spot Irish whiskeys.
