Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
1 23 oz Bepi Tosolini Grappa di Moscato
56 oz Pallini Limoncello
56 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
16 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (US)
13 oz Egg white (pasteurised) or Aquafaba (chickpea water) or Fee Brothers Fee Foam

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist (expressed & discarded) & lime wedge on rim .
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice and strain back into shaker.
  4. DRY SHAKE (without ice).
  5. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Adapted from a drink discovered in 2005 at Alfredo's of Rome, New York City, USA. The original called for a sour mix.

This was good and perfect for how we were using the cocktail. It is margarita-like, and interesting on its own. Not overly sweet.

I used 2 dashes of lemon bitters and I did lemon simple syrup - it was delish!

Doesn't do much, the grappa flavor works with the lemon but it didn't create anything special. Added some grapefruit bitters

Thanks for bringing this old recipe to my attention. I've revisited and rebalanced the recipe. May still benefit from some citrus bitters.
