1/4 fl oz | Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup) |
1 dash | Peychaud's or other Creole-style bitters |
How to make:
- Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
- Prepare garnish of fresh ginger and lemon slices.
- SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
- FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

The idea was to make a riff on an Aviation (see Biggles Aviation) but ginger cries out for cognac so I also ended up with this ginger Sidecar.

Created in 2008 by yours truly at The Cabinet Room, London, England. As a kid, I was an avid reader of the Biggles books.
