Ingredients:
2 oz Ketel One Vodka
0.42 oz Aromatized wine (e.g. Lillet Blanc)
16 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
4 drop Bob's Abbotts bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into ice-filled glass (preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice).
  5. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

History:

Adapted from a recipe created in 2016 by Ricardo Dynan, global brand ambassador for Absolut vodka. Naturally, the name is a reference to this cocktail originally being based on Absolut vodka.

Abbotts bitters really makes this drink. Luckily I had some on hand.

Not bad, it taste is more complex than you think. I used angostura bitters and I've never tried Abbotts bitters so I can't make a comparison, but it's a good vodka cocktail.

You could use an aromatic bitter such as Angostura.

This is a beautifully smooth and subtly flavored cocktail. Potato vodka contributes to a very pleasant mouthfeel and aroma.
