Mono Dorado translates to ,golden monkey'
(perhaps the white monkey made golden in this recipe?).

Thanks, Michael. I've corrected the Monkey's hue, and I'll be sure to add a White Monkey cocktail.

I'm slowly building the confidence to veer away from 'the authorised version' of recipes on here. Just made this (or something at a tangent from it) with Strega instead of yellow Chartreuse and corn liquor ('Mellow Corn') instead of the 'new make' Monkey Shoulder.
Was it anything like the original?
Who knows.
Did I enjoy it?
Oh yes!

Be creative! I just made this with Sông Cái dry gin, saffron liqueur (Apologue), and mango chili liqueur (Matchbook 'Flamingo Riviera'). Also delicious.
