Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
7 fresh Mint leaves
2 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
34 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
12 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
2 drop Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water) optional
13 oz Thomas Henry Soda Water optional
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare mint leaf for garnish.
  3. Lightly MUDDLE mint in base of shaker (just to bruise).
  4. Add next 4 ingredients and SHAKE with ice.
  5. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  6. TOP with a splash of chilled soda from a bottle/can or just the merest squirt from a chilled soda siphon.
  7. Garnish with mint leaf.

It’s nice but I can’t see when I’d order this over a mojito or daiquiri.

Gently muddled the mint and used Tanqueray. Accidentally used lemon juice(because I tought it was like that). Was nice nevertheless!

Simple, wonderful and easy drinking, we loved it on a summer afternoon. Would be interesting to make it more sophisticated with some Yellow Chartreuse.

Very nice recipe. I tried it with 5 leaves so it’s not too minty and it works fine.

Very nice as per recipe, I experimented Maraschino in place for sugar syrup worked well too.
