BANANA BLISS
W. J. Tarling, 1937
Invented by E. Angerosa
½ Banana Liqueur, Bols.
½ Courvosier Brandy XXX
Shake.
The introduction of oloroso sherry to the classically simply equal parts recipe of brandy and banana liqueur was by Caitlin Laman at the Ace Hotel in Chicago, USA. The proportions above and use of Abbott's bitters are by yours truly in November 2021.
Banana liqueur and brandy go shockingly well together, here toned with sherry and bitters.
