How to make:
- Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
- Prepare garnish of redcurrants.
- MUDDLE redcurrants in base of shaker.
- Add other ingredients, SHAKE with ice.
- FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
- Garnish with redcurrants draped over rim.

History:
Created by Jason Scott in 2002 at Oloroso in Edinburgh, Scotland.
This cocktail, which is red and contains rum, is named after Red Rum, the only horse in history to win England's Grand National three times (on his other two attempts, he came second). He became a British hero, appeared on the BBC Sports Personality of the Year show and paraded right up to his death at age 30 in 1995.
