Review:

A beautifully fruity, adult balance of bittersweet flavours.

History:

Created by Jason Scott in 2002 at Oloroso, Edinburgh, Scotland.

This cocktail, which is red and contains rum, is named after Red Rum, the only horse in history to win England's Grand National three times (on his other two attempts he came second). He became a British hero, made an appearance on the BBC Sports Personality of the Year show and paraded right up to his death at age 30 in 1995.

Alcohol content:

  • 1.6 standard drinks
  • 21.43% alc./vol. (42.86° proof)
  • 22.5 grams of pure alcohol
