Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
2 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
1 oz Luxardo Apricot Albicocca Liqueur
12 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
14 oz Chilled water omit if using wet ice
3 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
3 drop Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water) optional
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

History:

Named for Barnum Was Right, a 1929 American comedy film released with sounds and also as a silent version for theatres not wired for sound. Only the silent version serves.

Barnum Was Right
⅔ jigger Dry Gin
⅓ jiger Apricot Brandy
Dash Lime Juice or Lemon
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
Shake well with cracked ice and strain into cocktail glass.

Just a touch on the sweet side but very smooth and quite classic
