1/3 fl oz | Grenadine/pomegranate syrup |
1/3 fl oz | Chilled water (omit if using wet ice) |
2 drop | Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water) (optional) |

How to make:
- Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
- Prepare garnish of lemon wedge &/or lemon zest twist.
- SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
- FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

In his book, Vic prefaces this cocktail with the comment, "Nice, easy drink". It's basically a lemon Daiquiri with gin and grenadine.

HUAPALA COCKTAIL
¾ ounce light Puerto Rican rum
¾ ounce gin
½ ounce lemon juice
1 dash grenadine
Shake with ice cubes. Strain into chilled cocktail glass.
