Serve in an Old-fashioned glass

Ingredients:
2 oz Light gold rum (1-3 year old molasses column)
23 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
0.42 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
4 drop Difford's Daiquiri Bitters optional
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lime slice & Luxardo Maraschino Cherry.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into ice-filled glass.

25 ml lime
15 ml liquid sugar cane Aka liquid turbinado

now thats a proper suger cane tasting cocktail !

once u use that over simply syrup there is no going back ...

Well balanced and flavourful. Liked that it used gold rum instead of the insipid white. More rum flavours in the cocktail and the daiquiri bitters lifts the flavours. Used a Barbados gold as I tend to drink rums from Barbados or Jamaica.
