Serve in a Double old-fashioned
5 fresh | Blackberries |
1 1⁄2 oz | Ketel One Vodka |
5⁄6 oz | Lime juice (freshly squeezed) |
2⁄3 oz | Joseph Cartron Double Crème de Cassis de Bourgogne |
1⁄6 oz | Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup) |
Garnish: Fresh blackberry sat heroically atop crushed ice summit (it survived the muddler to reach its peak)
MUDDLE blackberries in base of shaker. Add other ingredients, SHAKE with ice and fine strain into glass filled with crushed ice. Serve with a cut-down paper straw.
This vodka-laced "Blackberry and lime(y) summer cooler is both fruity and (hopefully) aptly named.
