Didn't know what to think going into this one. By the first sip, I knew this wouldn't last long in the glass. Like Beverly said, not as sweet as it looks.

Nice cocktail. Not as sweet as I thought it might be. Would recommend.

This is nice. Not outstanding, but pleasant. Sort of a Tiki meets Aperitif. A little sweet with a tiki hint due to the passion fruit syrup.

Highly recommended! I recommend adding 2 drops of saline solution to amplify the fresh citrus and to temper the sweetness of Campari.

Agreed! I've added saline to the recipe above. Many thanks.

It is perfectly balanced in my opinion, thanks to the passion fruit. I don’t see how anyone who is open to Campari would be alienated by this one. Another for the regular rotation.

This is in one of my cocktail books as “Bittersweet Symphony” but it’s 30ml Gin & Campari, then the rest is the same. I guess cocktails are like songs… there are only so many “notes”. Inevitably someone will inadvertently recreate a previous cocktail. I need to dig out which book it was, because I’ve never seen the Bittersweet Symphony referenced anywhere else! Assuming it’s named after The Verve song, it could be mid 90s
