1 oz | Bourbon whiskey |
2⁄3 oz | Ginger liqueur |
1⁄4 oz | Lemon juice (freshly squeezed) |
1⁄6 oz | Lime juice (freshly squeezed) |
1⁄6 oz | Honey syrup (3 parts honey to 1 water by weight) |
3 drop | Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water) |
The name refers to this sweet 'n' sour, zesty ginger cocktail's golden hue. Bourbon provides the base, while lemon and lime balance the warming, rich ginger liqueur and honey (which replaced sugar syrup in our previous version of this recipe in January 2024).
