Simple yet complex, this beautifully balanced cocktail has faint saltiness from the manzanilla, delicate pear fruit and well-integrated fortifying tequila.

I ran out of Poire Williams so tried it with Giffards Pineapple. It was nice.

An outstanding cocktail. Almost perfect. Punchy but very invigorating and fresh.

I enjoyed La Perla slightly more with a tiny little squeeze of fresh lemon...

This is a great aperitif. The tequila and sherry work perfectly together. The pear add a nice hint, but still very dry. Will definitely do this one again.

We tried this as we were given a surprise bottle of Manzanilla at Christmas. Made with St Germain as we didn’t have Poire William. Really good!

I want to love this one but just can't dial it in. As written it just slaps me across the face as 'hello, I am fortified sherry' (yes, I admit, I have an overly developed wine-dar). So dial sherry back and it snaps at some point from that state to being just a decent pear margarita like drink. Can't find the balance.
