Ingredients:
1 13 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
12 oz Strucchi Red Bitter (Campari-style liqueur)
13 oz Rothman & Winter Crème de Violette Liqueur
12 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
13 oz Honey syrup (3 parts honey to 1 water by weight)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange slice wheel..
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with orange slice wheel.

Review:

The original recipe is closer to equal parts, but I find the floral and bitter notes overpowering, so I've reined back somewhat in this interpretation.

It's like a Paper Plane flew it's last flight on gin! Delicious! I used Aperol. I might try again with Campari to see the difference.
