1 1/3 fl oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
1/2 fl oz Strucchi Red Bitter (Campari-style liqueur)
1/3 fl oz Rothman & Winter Crème de Violette Liqueur
1/2 fl oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
1/3 fl oz Honey syrup (3 parts honey to 1 water by weight)

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange slice wheel.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with orange slice wheel.

Review:

The original recipe is closer to equal parts, but I find the floral and bitter notes overpowering, so I've reined back somewhat in this interpretation.
