Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
1 23 oz Mastiha liqueur
1 oz Strucchi Bianco Vermouth
12 oz Fernet Branca liqueur
3 dash Fee Brothers Celery bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest & mint sprigs.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. Express lemon zest twist over cocktail and discard. Garnish with mint sprigs bouquet.

History:

Adapted from a recipe created in 2013 by George Megalokonomos at Food Mafia, Athens, Greece. This was the winning cocktail in the Mediterranean Cocktails Challenge 2013.

This one holds a special place in my repertoire. I had a pinot gris from domaine Weinbach with my dinner and thought that was it, but this is just as perfect.
