2 fl oz Agricole vieux rhum/Cane juice rum (min 3yo)
1/2 fl oz Cynar or other carciofo amaro
1/4 fl oz Bénédictine D.O.M. liqueur
1/4 fl oz Amaro (e.g. CioCiaro)

How to make

Glassware

Serve in a Nick & Nora glass

Prepare

  1. Select and pre-chill a NICK & NORA GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.

Method

  1. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  2. STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Not having access to CioCiaro, we were about to go with Amaro Nardini when we noticed your comment. The drink was excellent with Amaro Lucano. As it warms, it blossoms, and serving in a Nick and Nora glass (as opposed to a Coupe) slows the warming to allow for longer sipping. We'll try Nardini next time.
