Fresh and summery. I can't figure out why it reads "grapefruit juice" when it has none, but that's a nice little slice of alchemy. (FYI also excellent with good gin.... but isn't everything?)

Hi Heidi. I might be missing the obvious, but please can you direct me to where it says "grapefruit juice"?

Made this both per the recipe and as an equal parts drink. For me, adding an ounce of lemon juice and lime juice really balanced out the other sweet components. In fact, that oz of lime juice gives the drink a much welcomed faint bitterness.

Made this replacing the raspberry syrup with pre-Prohibition grenadine (as per Darcy O'Nei), giving it a wonderful spicy undertone.

Probably depends on your juices and syrup, but can be a bit sweet, so make sure you get enough dilution.

I've checked summer and, while at it, also fruit as seemed appropriate!

Maybe a good candidate for the "summer" category here on DG.

Thinking of scaling this up for a party and including some ginger ale for zing - so I can serve one rum punch and one non alcoholic. Any suggestions for getting the perfect flavour balance?

Made as described. Perfect sweet-sour balance. Very refreshing.

Found the raspberry a bit overpowering, but was happier with the balance after reducing the syrup to 3/4 oz.
