Ingredients:
2 fl oz Ketel One Vodka
1 1/2 fl oz Pineapple juice
1/2 fl oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
1/4 fl oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of pineapple wedge on rim.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

This cocktail is deliciously simple, fruity, and ridiculously easy to drink. The quality and freshness of your pineapple juice are key to this cocktail's success, so muddling fresh pineapple instead of using juice also works well.

History:

Adapted from a recipe created in 1997 by Ben Reed at the Met Bar in London, England. Ben has appointed, or should I say anointed, the 26th June as International Pineapple Martini Day.
