Ingredients:
1 12 oz Patrón Reposado tequila
12 oz Cointreau triple sec liqueur
13 oz Mandarine Napoleon liqueur
34 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
34 oz Tangerine / Mandarin / Clementine juice (fresh juice)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Optionally, RIM glass with salt (moisten outside edge with lime juice and dip into salt).
  3. Prepare garnish of skewered tangerine/ mandarin/clementine wedge.
  4. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  5. STRAIN into chilled glass.
  6. Garnish with skewered tangerine/ mandarin/clementine.

AKA: Maccarita, or Clementine Maccarita

History:

Sir Paul McCartney (yup, of Beatles fame) likes his Margarita's made with a splash of freshly squeezed orange juice (preferably clementine juice). Hence, this recipe is named in his honour.

Im sure it would be quite interesting with clementine! But the orange juice version tates unoriginal and somehow boring

Just tried the variant with the Clementine juice and Mandarin Napoleon. Wow, although I liked the original, the other is much more subtle in flavour. Either are perfect.
