Step 4 seems to be incorrect based on the image: "STRAIN into ice-filled glass."

Many thanks for bringing to my attention, Peter. Now corrected.

Delicious Manhattan variant - bourbon and Averna are delicious together (and apart - recommended for every home bar). PX sherry is complementary, but definitely secondary to the main flavors.

Delightful. Needed a cocktail for the evening of Christmas Day after much eating and drinking. This was perfect. Hints of raisins and spices. Easy to drink. A bit spirit forward, but that is great for me. Would recommend especially on the holidays or winter.

Some of my favourite things mixed in a glass, this was never going to go down badly. The raisiney notes from the sherry add dark undertones and kick it up a notch. Delicious.
Made with Montenegro Amaro.

Underrated cocktail in my opinion. I make this regularly and absolutely love it!
