2 fl oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
1/2 fl oz Peach schnapps liqueur
1/2 fl oz Orange juice (freshly squeezed)
1/4 fl oz Monin Grenadine Syrup

Serve in a Coupe glass

Prepare

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist &/or peach wedge.

Method

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. Garnish with orange zest twist (expressed over cocktail) &/or peach wedge on rim.

BERMUDA COCKTAIL
1 ¾ ounces gin
¾ ounce peach brandy
2 dashes grenadine
2 dashes orange juice
Shake with ice cubes. Strain into large chilled cocktail glass.

Also not convinced of this cocktail. It could be that one has to adapt this cocktail each time to the used products, because they can be so different. Today I added a splash lemon juice, but still the result is not really balanced..

Starts a bit sweet but then quickly balances and finishes with peach and orange flavors. Wondering if Orange bitters may help with the initial sweetness.

Unfortunately I found this too sweet to be refreshing. Next time I’m going to try it with some lemon or use that Gordon’s peach gin someone gave me in place of the schnapps.
