Ingredients:
1 16 oz Amaro (e.g. Montenegro)
12 oz Giffard Creme de Mure
56 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
14 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (US)
1 dash La Fee Parisienne absinthe
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of blackberry dusted with powdered sugar.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into ice-filled glass (preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice).

Adapted from a cocktail created by and named after Hayden Scott Lambert at his bar, Bramble and Hugo Special this cocktail featured on the opening menu of Above Board back in November 2016.

The color of the drink in the photo can be misleading. I got it bright red. In the photo it is closer to brown. The cocktail itself is wonderful.

This is really quite good, and my go to for a lower ABV cocktail.

Whoa! Sounds amazing. Considering for a substitute for the Creme de Mure; Cherry Heering is likely too bright...
