1 ¹⁄₂ fl oz	Bourbon whiskey
³⁄₄ fl oz	Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
³⁄₄ fl oz	Orange juice (freshly squeezed)
¹⁄₂ fl oz	Saffron syrup (2:1 sugar syrup heated with saffron fronds)
2 dash	Orange Bitters by Angostura
¹⁄₂ fl oz	Egg white (pasteurised) or 3 dash Fee Brothers Fee Foam cocktail foamer

How to make

Glassware

Serve in a Coupe glass

Prepare

Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
Prepare garnish of saffron fronds.

Method

SHAKE all ingredients with ice and strain back into shaker.
DRY SHAKE (without ice) to emulsify.
FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

Garnish with saffron fronds.

This reminds me of a cocktail at a low-ABV bar in Lyon, France called Sauvage. The cocktail is called L'Arpailleur which means gold miner. Perhaps they used this as an inspiration. Very nice little sour!
