Tart and fruity. I used Bison grass vodka as well. I added an additional 2.5 ml of simple syrup. I guess my blackberries were extra tart.

Have you ever had homemade blackcurrant squash ("saft" in Swedish)? This is basically that. It's absolutely delicious, it's just not very different from just drinking non-alcoholic blackcurrant squash.

As a non-Swede and as someone who doesn't have access to fresh blackcurrants, I can't help but imagine that your comment rings true in my mind nonetheless. I just would have hoped for a version that would taste like the two combining together, rather than one bleeding into another.

Had run out of vodka so used bison grass vodka instead. A lucky accident - really complements the blackberry flavours

If you fine strain, why are there blackberry seeds (in picture)? I received some blackberries from my CSA and need a tasty way to use them other than pie!

It's a very old and bad image shot some 20 years ago (No. 241 on our database). Looks like it was built in the glass. I'll reshoot and replace image.
