Review:

The banana notes often found in whisky enhanced with a generous splash of banana liqueur. Don't expect a sweetie, despite the liqueur, this remains a dry, spirituous Old Fashioned.

Replaced the bitters with 2 dashes of Angostura Chocolate Bitters to give it a Chocolate Banana vibe... The wife was a big fan of this change... ^_^

Replacing Abbott’s bitters with a couple of dashes of Peychaud’s works well.

This is a wonderful cocktails. The liqueur enhances the subtle tones of the Bourbon. The bitters bring down the sweetness to a wonderful level. Use a good quality Bourbon for this cocktail as the quality of the ingredience is key
