This gin-based cocktail elegantly highlights the quality of your apricot liqueur. Off-dry rather than sweet.
The Paradise Cocktail first appears in Harry McElhone's 1922 Harry's ABC of Mixing Cocktails as an equal parts dry gin, apricot brandy, and orange juice. It then reappears with a better formulation in Harry Craddock's 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book.

Our first post since the PANDEMIC.
We had a total of 10 spirits, liqueurs and bitters prior to this grave situation.
Today we masked up and went to our LCBO in Ontario, Canada and purchased another new bottle...Apricot Brandy.
We made this cocktail and were shocked to hear that a city in Canada, named Paradise was engulfed with fire.
All said, was a good cocktail. Added the lemon for balance. Will have to try without.
Thank you and stay safe.
