Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
0.08 oz Grand Marnier or other cognac orange liqueur
1 12 oz Bourbon whiskey
34 oz Strucchi Rosso Vermouth
34 oz Strucchi Dry Vermouth
3 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist and Luxardo Maraschino Cherry.
  3. RINSE glass with orange liqueur, discard excess and set to one side.
  4. STIR other ingredients with ice.
  5. STRAIN into liqueur-rinsed glass.
  6. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.
  7. Garnish with skewered cherry.

Yes, much better with a bar spoon of Cointreau, and Carpano Antica. 👍

Oh heavens! I completely misread the Grand Mariner proportions as 1.5 oz. Will try again at home, and with Carpano Antica vs. the Martini & Rossi that was What There Is .

Great variation of the Manhattan. Smooth with just a hint of orange. Nice mild hints from the two vermouths. Perfect for before dinner.
