2 fl oz Dark/black/blackstrap rum
1⁄4 fl oz Luxardo Apricot Albicocca Liqueur
1⁄4 fl oz Grand Marnier or other cognac orange liqueur
1⁄6 fl oz Monin Almond (Orgeat) Syrup
1⁄2 fl oz Orange juice (freshly squeezed)
1⁄2 fl oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)

How to make

Glassware

Serve in an Old-fashioned glass

Prepare

  1. Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of lime zest twist.

Method

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. STRAIN into ice-filled glass.

Garnish

  1. Express lime zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

This is delicious, and I wouldn’t change a thing, except to add mint to the garnish. Mixed it with Botucal Mantuano.
