I’m gonna try it but any reason to think an oz of Coco Lopez would hurt this drink or throw off the whole purpose of not using it?

It would become a Coconut & Almond Piña Colada, which sounds tasty. However, the addition of Coco Lopez could make it overly sweet.

Tastes like the "Mai Tai" I had on a cruise. Added 1/2 oz of Smith & Cross to give it a little more dimension.

First tried and disliked, tried another time with homemade orgeat (increased to 1/2 oz) and 2 1/4 oz rum (Havana club 3 years) and was very great and enjoyed by everyone.

this one's really good. i bumped the rum up 75%, could definitely tolerate more. reminds me of a sweet tart or other sour candy. too sour for me so ill use less lime next time but thats normal

Try adding just straight coconut milk, about an 3/4 to 1 full ounce. Without all the sweeteners that make it coconut cream or cream of coconut, whatever u wanna call it. It mellows out the sourness and brings back just a touch of that classic piña colada taste.

This one gets my wife's seal of approval - she likes a long fruity drink that's not too strong - pulled the Bacardi back to 1 shot but used 8 yr old to bring up the flavour. Added to her favourites

I went a little off the rails here, but it was still delicious! Used Koloa brand dark rum instead of light, and lemon juice instead of lime. Otherwise the same! More of a almond pina sour than almond pina colada, but still sweet with tiki vibes! Excellent!

Ive told others this and I’m repeating myself but try adding 3/4 to 1 full ounce of coconut milk instead of coconut cream. All coconut cream is, is coconut milk with a ton of simple syrup added. The coconut milk helps cut the sour and give it just a hint of the classic coconut Piña Colada taste

This one went from my Wish List to my Favourites. Wow. A great blend of cocktails. Sort of tiki, but not sweet. Perfect on a warm sunny afternoon. Would be great with grilled food or anything Mexican. Love it.

PS. Considering adding a 151 float next time for a little bit more punch.

A sort of mai tai pina colada cross over, what’s not to like? And easy to make
