Review:

Light rum provides vibrancy while aged rum adds rich complexity. Pineapple juice adds tropical fruitiness and replaces the dilution necessary to open and amplify a classic Daiquiri.

Nice, but pineapple adds very little, in my opinion. As in every daiquiri, rum is the most important ingredient. It was a bit dull, so a splash of Smith and Cross solved it.

I was trying to finish off some Havana Club 7 and pineapple juice and found this recipe. I was skeptical looking at the specs, but I'd say it exceeded my expectations. (20 Jun 2023, 7:28p)

Could you reduce the dark rum slightly and replace with Triple Sec?

The lime juice and sugar really make the pineapple sing.

Super tasty Daiquiri. I used 30ml Plantation Three Star, 15ml Doorly's Barbados 8yr, 15ml Smith & Cross Jamaican Navy Strength.
