Serve in a Coupe glass
4 unit | Maraschino cherry (from jar in syrup) |
3⁄4 oz | Speyside single malt Scotch whisky |
3⁄4 oz | Blood orange liqueur |
3⁄4 oz | Lillet-style Rouge light quinquina |
1⁄2 oz | Pink grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed) |
1⁄4 oz | Lemon juice (freshly squeezed) |
2 dash | Orange Bitters by Angostura |
Garnish: Dehydrated Orange slice wheel
MUDDLE cherries in base of shaker. Add other ingredients, SHAKE with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.
This riff on a classic Blood & Sand is indeed a tad on the tart side, but tasty and refreshing.
