Serve in an Old-fashioned glass
5⁄6 oz | Patrón Silver blanco tequila |
2⁄3 oz | Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal |
1⁄3 oz | Cointreau triple sec liqueur |
1⁄4 oz | Chili liqueur |
3⁄4 oz | Lime juice (freshly squeezed) |
4 drop | Difford's Margarita Bitters |
2 drop | Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water) |
Having tried the Tommy's version of this cocktail, (which as it doesn't have an orange liqueur is actually a "Tequila Sour",) I wanted to make it into a 'real' Margarita with a triple sec liqueur and a touch of added chili spice.
