How to make:
SHAKE first 3 ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass. FLOAT spoon of kirsch eau de vie on surface of drink.
Lime wedge on rim
A float of Kirsch eau-de-vie adds wonderfully fruity aromatics to an otherwise classic Natural Daiquiri.
2 1/3 shot Bacardi Carta Blanca white rum
¾ Freshly squeezed lime juice
½ shot Sugar syrup
½ shot Chilled water (omit if wet ice)
1/6 shot Kirsch eau-de-vie.
This adaptation of a Natural Daiquiri was discovered by Joerg Meyer in 2011 in the 1948 edition of the Cuban Cantinero bartender’s own journal, El Arte del Cantinero Los Vinos Y Los Licores.
