This is funny, I started pouring gin in the tins and at the same time my husband pulled up the recipe and told me it was with vodka, so poured the gin back in the bottle, went all over the place lol and used vodka. Most enjoyable cocktail, giving it a 5.

If you have super fresh grapefruit and good quality vodka etc I think there’s already plenty of complexity with ingredients as is IMO.

Excellent as a aperitif. Wonderfully sour with the various flavours of the citrus. Perfect for sipping and good conversation.

This is very refreshing. My first experience with Cappellietti. I am very pleased with it. This is a very nice sour. Will make again.

This is a really refreshing change if you are feeling ‘soured out’ but don’t want to consume anything that is too cloying.
Fresh, light, citrusy and deserves credit for it’s balance. I’m not a huge Elderflower fan and for once it doesn’t stick its elbows out at the dinner table.

Didn't have grapefruit and subbed fresh OJ. Was tasty and got a lot of foam.

The original version tastes (and looks) great. Might try some of the suggestions here as they sound like interesting twists - surely the sign of a great cocktail?

I did try the original version, but then changed out the vodka for UV red ruby grapefruit vodka...simply delicious!

This is great. Made it as instructed and was not disappointed. Pleasantly refreshing and a nice surprise. Will definitely make again.
