Serve in a Sling glass

Ingredients:
2 oz Light white rum (charcoal-filtered 1-4 years old)
1 oz Cointreau triple sec liqueur
1 oz Pineapple juice
12 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
14 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Sling glass.
  2. Prepare mint sprigs for garnish.
  3. BLEND all ingredients with 7oz scoop of crushed ice.
  4. Serve with straws.
  5. Garnish with mint sprigs bouquet.

Made well this is a long, fruity, brilliant frozen Daquiri.

Adapted from a recipe in Victor Bergeron's 1972 Trader Vic's Bartender's Guide, Revised.

Try this. This is s hell of a drink.
MAJOR BAILEY
¼ ounce lime juice
¼ ounce lemon juice
½ teaspoon bar sugar
12 mint leaves
2 ounces gin
Muddle lime juice, lemon juice, sugar, and mint leaves well. Pour into a 12-ounce chimney glass filled with shaved ice. Add gin. Stir gently until glass is frosted. Chill for 30 minutes. Decorate with mint sprig. Serve with straws.

I don’t like crushed ice cocktail so i try to blend ingredients in a ice filled glass and the result is excellent. I used 5 cl. pinapple juice

I would imagine this is bland beyond bland over crushed ice. I made this up, and it was sweet enough to maybe warrant an ice cube or two. Up, I might tone the syrup down to 5 ml. Lemon, Libby's, and Luxardo is a lovely combo.

I can see that working. May want to drop the sugar syrup from the recipe because Malibu is pretty sweet. Definitely up to your tastes though.
