Beneficial to bruise the mint first. Thanks for the suggestion; I've added it above.

It's a bit like a last word with mint substituting for the chartreuse

Really enjoyed this - I thought it would be too sweet for my tastes, but it was a very well balanced drink, all of the components contributing.

This is really nice. Everything is well-balanced; goes down real easy. The mint is really refreshing. I'm wondering if swapping the lemon for lime would give you a version of The Last Word with the mint replacing the Green Chartreuse... Will have to try that since GC is impossible to find these days.

Feels like a drink you can have anytime, really. The mint and the botanicals of the gin combine well, with the Maraschino providing a nice sweetness.

First one was by the book, second one was a, 2, 1, 1/2, 1//2 oz ratio and it worked better for me. Definitely will make again.

Substituted lime for lemon and used homemade mint infused simple syrup and Hendricks lunar gin, lovely.
